Giorgio Saulini

Achieving success at a young age, reaching FIRE, and dedicating himself to his true passion: art.

Born in 1984 and based in Rome, he earned a degree in Graphic and Multimedia Design from the University of Rome. After graduating, he worked as a graphic designer, 3D modeler, and animator before founding a company with an IT partner. The company achieved success through the development of a PlayStation VR game. However, he decided to dedicate himself to his true passion—art—and sold all of his shares before stepping down from the company. Since 2019, after much experimentation and exploration, he has established the distinctive style he is known for today. The Saulini family is a family of artists. The second- and third-generation artists, Tommaso and Luigi, were renowned cameo sculptors active in Rome from the early 1800s. During their golden age, they served as artists favored by the British Royal Family under Queen Victoria. Their works are housed in some of the world’s most important museums, including the British Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg.

About Logo

About the ROMANs Logo

The ROMANs logo has a meaning like this!

This logo was inspired by the myth told by Aristophanes in Plato’s Symposium. According to the story, humans originally existed as perfect beings, with no distinction between men and women and no need for anything else. However, Zeus, the king of the gods, became jealous and split humans into two halves, forcing each person to spend their life searching for their other half. Through this search, humans are led toward self-realization. The logo simply represents the two halves that make up a whole—male and female—and symbolizes the importance of human relationships and social connection.
